Campervans, Motorhomes & Hard-Standing Electric Pitches
Caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents, roof-top tents, and campervans can stay on any of the 20 hard-standing electric hook-up pitches in Sparrowhawk Field.
Pitches are numbered. If you’d like to be alongside friends, email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Due to pitch size, we cannot accept larger vehicles—maximum length is 7.2m (car not included for towing caravans).
No tents are allowed on campervan/motorhome/caravan pitches.
Tent Camping
Tent campers are best suited to book Sparrowhawk Field if you want to be close to friends. Pitch freely next to family and friends in either field—no marked pitches here for tents. Just make sure everyone books for the same field.
Fields to Choose From
Sparrowhawk Field – our lower camping field, close to the charmingly rustic facilities, with stunning views of the valley tops.
Grouse Field – the larger field with our modern heated facilities and amazing views down the valley.
Booking & Stay Requirements
Minimum stay: 2 nights on weekends and during summer holidays; 3 nights over Bank Holiday weekends. No minimum stay in winter.
Check-ins/out: No Saturday check-ins or check-outs during high season; during Bank Holidays, no Saturday or Sunday check-ins/out.
Family-Friendly Rules
We are a family campsite and cannot accept bookings for party groups.
Quiet hours start at 10pm—please respect fellow campers.
Bell Tents Available to Hire Until the End of October 2026
Looking for a night away or want to travel light? Our beautiful Bell Tents are the perfect option! Situated in Lapwing Field, each tent enjoys generous views of the valley and exclusive use of the space around it.
Each tent comes fully equipped with:
Sleeping: King-size bed (plus 2 single beds in family tents), with duvets, pillows, sheets, and blankets supplied.
Cooking & Dining: Basic camping equipment including a stove, kettle, crockery, cutlery, table, and chairs.
Power & Convenience: Electricity and charging capabilities as standard. With electric blankets and a fridge.
Couples’ tents can also be converted into family tents on request—just get in touch via email.
Pitches are numbered—if you’d like to be beside a friend, email us and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
A fire pit is included in the price, with logs and kindling available to purchase on-site. Perfect for cozy evenings under the stars!
