Newfold Farm Campsite is an all-year-round campsite suitable for tents, caravans, camper vans & motorhomes. We also have fully equipped bell tents with power if you are looking for that extra bit of added luxury, and our brand new heated toilet and shower block now open to all guests.
Newfold Farm is also home to The Fold cafe-bar and Edale General Store, both stocking high quality local produce with our very own on-site farm-reared/grown ingredients soon to be available in both.

Newfold Farm Edale isn't just a campsite, we are also a working farm, supplying farm produce to our cafe / bar and onsite shop, Edale General Store, see below for details on the different areas of our business.

We offer a range of different options when it comes to booking your break at Newfold Farm Campsite, whether you are bringing your own tent, caravan, or campervan or you'd prefer to stay in one of our luxury bell tents.
Newfold FarmCampsite.
Our scenic campsite consists of three main fields: Grouse; our larger, main tent field located towards the back of the site, Sparrowhawk; our closer field with the tent and campervan pitches separated by our road leading further up, and Lapwing; the field reserved for our luxury bell tents. The Curlew field at the top is reserved for overflow and therefore is not available to book.
Brand New Facilities
After a period of development, we are pleased to announce that our brand new, state of the art toilet and shower block is now open for use of anybody staying on our site. Just another reason to book a stay in stunning Edale at Newfold Farm.
local Produce
When it comes to food, we believe that minimising “miles to plate" both on our shop shelves in Edale General Store, and on tables in The Fold cafe/bar. For this reason, we will always strive to deliver high quality ingredients and produce, prioritising first what we can get from our own farmland, then Edale, then Derbyshire, Britain and beyond only if we have to.

The Fold cafe/bar is open seven days a week, for the best breakfast you can get on this side of Kinder Scout, complete with our own farm-reared bacon and sausage. But that's just the start of it; we've also got a cracking lunch offering, as well as a local-produce-focused evening specials menu available on weekends. Keep an eye on our website and other media for special offerings, such as our summer wood-fired pizzas too!

First fixed campsite we’ve been too and it was amazing! Lovely clean toilets and warm showers. Plenty of space to pitch up even on bank holiday weekend we all had room around our tents. On site cafe and shop which came in handy. 2 pubs in walking distance. Perfect place to start loads of trails round there.

Stayed at Newfold Farm this past Easter weekend, what a great place to stay! We were spoilt with the beautiful weather but even without we would have had a lovely time. Easy to find, all staff friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Toilet block can be a bit chilly but bring some warm shoes and absolutely fine, not an issue. Setting is beautiful, so many walks and things to explore. Very child and family friendly/ orientated. Everyone respects each others and noise is at a minimum. Couldn’t recommend more and will definitely be back
